Tried to sign up for an event

Signed up for a pre rift event at Magmor in scappose OR and we showed up after driving 2 hours and they said they didn't have an event and that like 4 other people had already shown up for the same thing. Kinda bummed and it makes it seem like the store is making events just to receive allocations to sell.
